Canada Day is around the corner and we can’t wait to celebrate in Windsor Essex County. If you don’t already have plans, our team has you covered!
Windsor’s Canada Day Parade is returning to the downtown core for the first time since 2019! Roughly 60 floats will cruise down Ouellette Avenue and onto Riverside Drive this year. The parade had previously been running in Walkerville along Wyandotte Street East - downtown businesses are so excited to welcome it back. The Canada Day Parade starts at 11 am on July 1st - find more information on Windsor Parade’s website.
Celebrate Canada Day and Leamington’s 150th birthday by attending a free festival at Seacliff Park! The music starts at 6:30 pm, featuring Michelle Wright, then Terri Clark at 8:30 pm. The night will end with a fireworks display over Lake Erie.
Featuring a free community BBQ and a wide variety of family-friendly activities like crafts, putt putt golf, the Border City Barkers dog show, and much more, Tecumseh's Canada Day celebration at Lakewood Park is sure to be a great time for all ages.
Looking to get active on Canada Day? Come to Fort Malden in beautiful historic Amherstburg for the Canada Day 5km Run/Walk/Wheel event. This event kicks off a full slate of great Canada Day activities in Amherstburg, taking you through Amherstburg's historic downtown core. All proceeds go back to local charities.
Come to Kingsville Arena for an afternoon of great Canada Day activities for the entire family starting at 4 PM, followed by a fireworks show at 10 PM (weather permitting)
