A clean, empty beach

Windsor Essex County is surrounded by water on almost all sides, so we have no shortage of excellent beaches! Having trouble deciding where to have your next beach day? Consider one of these incredible beaches.

Sandpoint Beach

This Riverside Drive destination is easily the most popular beach in the City of Windsor. This area consistently brings people looking to enjoy the sun or getting into the water throughout the summer each year, and neighbours other destinations including Ganatchio Park and Stop 26 Beach.

Point Pelee National Park

Point Pelee boasts the longest continuous natural beach in Windsor Essex County. The water is refreshing, and the sand is beautiful at any one of Point Pelee’s beaches. Make the most of your beach day at Point Pelee – stop by the Marsh Store to rent a canoe or take a stroll down the boardwalk!

Colchester Beach

This beach is a popular spot for families because of how many amenities it has to offer. Just steps from Colchester Beach there is a beautiful new pirate ship playground, a splashpad, and bathroom facilities. On the expansive beach you’ll find a volleyball net and an outdoor concession stand nearby.

Seacliff Beach and Park

Whether you’re attending Hogs for Hospice, hosting a family picnic, or just lounging at the beach, Seacliff Beach and Park has everything you need. The beach and park are expansive, boasting a large pavilion for live music and many volleyball courts.

No matter which beautiful beach you choose, make sure you check Windsor Essex County Health Unit’s most recent beach water testing report!
